Welcome

During my studies as a pharmacist I developed a strong interest in plants as sources of medicines and now as photographic subjects. I also have a particular interest in animal and human portraiture. I shoot in both colour and black and white, digital and film. My work seeks to capture that decisive moment and the special dynamism embodying the essence of a subject, or “the heart of the matter”; be it portraiture or landscape.

I currently live in Surrey, having spent a number of years working and studying in New Zealand and the United States.
I hope the enjoyment I derive from my work and the special connection I make with my subject is plain to see and I hope that you will share that pleasure with me.
